CML Racing Race Report:
The weekend of August 19th saw the return of the annual UK dirt masters held at Clanfield. It was the first big event on there new revamped layout. The weather was very hot all day which allowed for some great racing.
Team Associated/ CML driver Tony Truman was in attendance with his RC8.2. In Qualifying Tony struggled to get to grips with the new layout but would go on in the last round of qualifying, to set the fastest time of the day. Having struggled in the first few rounds getting used to the track, Tony would line up second on the grid for a 30min A main in very warm temperatures. Getting tangled up at the start dropped Tony back in the pack but as the race went on, he worked his way back up the pack to take the lead at just over the half way point. He would remain there for the rest of the race to take the win and title of UK dirt master 2012.
