Team Trinity's Monster D3 motors dominate at the 2011 ROAR Carpet Nationals by taking the national championship wins in the World GT 13.5, 1/12 Modified, and 1/12 17.5 classes.
Josh Cyrul led the team to victory with a win in both World GT 13.5 and 1/12 Modified, while Mike Blackstock TQ'ed and finished 2nd to Cyrul in the 1/12 Modified class. Andrew Knapp sealed the deal with a win in the 17.5 1/12 class also using the new D3 motor.
Trinity has put together some stats showing just how dominate the NEW D3 motors were at this year's event:
· Touring Car 17.5, the choice of 70% of the "A" Main drivers
· Touring Car 21.5, the choice of 60% of the "A" Main drivers
· 1/12th 17.5, the choice of 70% of the "A" Main drivers
· 1/12th 13.5, the choice of 60% of the "A" Main drivers
· World GT 13.5, the Choice of 80% of the "A" Main drivers
