Ronald Völker in the shape of his life. There is no other way describing the TCM result. He dominated every round of the whole racing weekend. Ronald showed an impressing and mistake-free performance. His competitors didn’t have any chance. Ronald won 4 out of 4 rounds of training, 5 out of 5 rounds of qualifying and 3 out of three finals of the Masters class with ease.
First A-main
Being TQ, Ronald started from the pole position. He was able to gain a head start on the other drivers already in the first round. Ronald widened this gap step by step. His toughest rival Marc Rheinard was stopped in lap 17 by a technical defect. Juho Levänen and Alexander Hagberg could profit from Marc’s bad luck. They secured the second and third spots in the first heat, behind the winner Ronald Völker.
Second A-main
It was THE opportunity for Ronald: with another victory he could secure the overall TCM title ahead of schedule. No sooner said than done. Like on rails and without doing any mistakes, Ronald drove to an easy victory, leading from the start to the finish line. Marc Rheinard was able to come a little closer to Ronald in the last laps, but in the end, he was engaged into a tough position fight with Juho Levänen for the second place. Ronald kept cool and won also the second A-main with a clear advance, securing the overall TCM 2011 victory already in the second final.
Third A-main
Although the race had been already decided, the third A-main also offered a lot of thrilling racing. Ronald was unstoppable again. The combination of precise driving and the LRP power package in his Yokomo built up a perfect symbiosis and made Ronald unbeatable at this year's TCM. Behind him, it was Marc Rheinard who again secured the second place in this heat and also in the overall ranking. But Marc had a hard time to defend his position against his persuers. This time, it was Alexander Hagberg that followed him almost wheel-to-wheel. Nevertheless, Ronald was the dominating driver: his victories in training, qualifying and finals made him the most successful driver of this year’s TCM.
After his victory in 2010, Ronald was able to win for LRP again and defend his title in a spectacular and impressing way. The double European Champion was unbeatable at the TCM weekend.
