2022 Peach State Classic Announcement

The Georgia Peach State Classic is coming to Rabun Arena in Tiger Georgia on September 16-18 2022. Owner Mark Moon from Winder Georgia has been working on this since August of 2021 for preparation. The Peach State Classic has been ran for several years prior, but has been and outdoor race held at Loganville RC Complex in Loganville Ga. 

This year it will be held in a covered Arena, so there is no chance of a rain out. Mark has been building the driver's stand, pit lane and staging area since August of 2021 and with the help from Beach Rc it will be covered with Banners,  Thank you Beach Rc!! It took him 1 year and 1 month to complete this task. 

The crew has been hard at work gathering sponsors and so far has over 5 kits for the raffle among other amazing prizes.

Special thank you to Jeremy Paz for all of the personal flyer pictures that Jeremy has made to promote local racers to pro racers on the flier. Mark believes that local guys need the spot light just as much as the pros. Let's face it...it's the guys paying full price for rc stuff that keeps this hobby going and making it possible for pros to make a living at RC. 

Huge acknowledgment to Lance MacDonald for being such a huge help.. Lance will be the race director for this event.  Brian Burnette will be building the layout for the Peach State Classic thanks to M&R rental in Gainesville Georgia for providing the equipment for this build. And Mark wants to thank Brian for being such a good friend and helping out with Loganville RC Complex on the track builds there also. Brian builds Smooth flowing tracks and has built several tracks around Ga, Alabama,  and South Carolina for other track owners.

Mark wanted to let everyone know who made this dream a reality that he really appreciates them. With out all the support from Loganville RC Complex. He's talking about the racers support. Volunteers who help with the track, cutting grass, to whatever is needed, that the Peach State Classic would not be where it's going and headed today. Mark has a very successful SOS , Southern Offroad Series that he also runs with the help from Brian Burnette and his wife Susan Moon.  Susan is the race director for the SOS and Brian goes ahead of the series to builds some of the tracks that the SOS holds events at during the series. The SOS is a 1 day event that has seen 300 plus entries over 3 times in the past 4 years at a one day event. 

In ending,  Mark wants to invite anyone who want to come to the Ga Peach State Classic September 16-18 to come on up to Rabun Arena in Tiger Georgia.
