Michael Sontag is the 2023 IFMAR World Champion in 2wd Modified buggy. Sontag would wrap up an essentially perfect weekend taking his TQ position to 1st in both A1 and A2.

A1 would see Sontag win from tone to tone. Aydin Horne would climb to 2nd after mistakes from Ongaro, Phend, and Rivkin. Ryan Cavalieri would climb to third and make an aggressive pass on Horne for 2nd but would ultimately give back the position. Brennan Schimmel would climb to 4th from 10th and Davide Ongaro would rebound to 5th.

A2 Sontag would take an even bigger win this time with more straight forward results this would give him the win and wrap up the title. Rivkin would finish 2nd after a brief battle with Ongaro. Broc Champlin would finish 3rd with Aydin Horne 4th and Dakotah Phend in 5th.

In A3 Spencer Rivkin would take a pretty dominating victory over the field to secure 2nd place. Broc Champlin would finish 2nd in the run and Ryan Cavalieri finished 3rd. Marcus Kaerup would take a 4th and Davide Ongaro would grab another 5th.

This would leave the overall top 3 with Michael Sontag, Spencer Rivkin, and Broc Champlin.
