2026 IFMAR 1/8th Worlds: 3 Different TQs in 3 Rounds

We are half way through qualifying with 3 rounds finished and so far we have 3 different TQs. David Ronnefalk, Mason Fuller, and Davide Ongaro each grabbed a TQ run today.

Q1 would see David Ronnefalk take the TQ by 3 seconds despite having to pit while 2nd-4th would all make the run without a stop. Ryan Maifield, Mason Fuller, and Chase Lemieux would finish 2nd through 4th with Davide Ongaro finishing 5th, the only other driver in the top 5 requiring fuel in the first round.

Q2 would go the way of Mason Fuller once again doing the full 10 minute run without fuel. David Ronnefalk would back up his Q1 effort with a 2nd in Q2 ahead of Chase Lemieux, Juan Carlos Canas, and Dakotah Phend in 3rd through 5th.

In Q3 Davide Ongaro would take the TQ on the final lap finishing just .1 ahead of Chase Lemieux. Fuel would once again play a part in the story with Davide pitting each round and Chase not taking any fuel. Spencer Rivkin would have his first top 3 run in 3rd with Mason Fuller in 4th and Ryan Maifield 5th.

Tomorrow we will see another 3 rounds of qualifying with the best 3/6 counting towards main event starting positions. Check out the top 20 from each of the 3 rounds below.
