Press Release From Boom Graphics:

Despite winter weather forecasts that at one point called for up to 15 inches of snow (spoiler alert: they were very wrong), nearly 200 entries braved the cold and packed Fastlane Raceway for another unforgettable Offroad JAM weekend. With heated indoor racing and nonstop action on track, the winter freeze never stood a chance.
From stacked novice fields to photo finishes in Mod, the 2026 JAM delivered drama, laughs, chaos, and some of the closest racing Fastlane has seen in years.
Fastlane Raceway Novice Buggy:
The Novice class was loaded with new racers ready to JAM. Bodhi Alberico grabbed TQ and would tie Payton Boyd in points after the double A-mains. With MX scoring in play, the better finish in A2 became the tiebreaker—and Bodhi delivered, taking 1st in A2 and the overall win. Payton Boyd drove a smooth and consistent race for 2nd overall, while Nolan Cooper rounded out the podium in 3rd.
Cayote 40+ 2WD Buggy
Starting 8th on the grid, David Alberico charged to the A1 win, with Jason Porter close behind in 2nd. A2 flipped the script as Porter grabbed the win, followed by Brent Riley and Alberico. When the dust settled, it was Jason Porter taking the overall win, Alberico finishing 2nd, Riley 3rd, and TQ Mack Vanderbeek landing 4th overall.
Team Associated 21.5 Independent 2WD Buggy
(Biggest class of the event + Dash 4 Cash) Kevin Moyer set the tone with TQ and an impressive A1 win, holding off Tim Wiechens by just three seconds, with Vaughn Vance finishing 3rd. A2 belonged to Wiechens, securing him the overall win, with Moyer 2nd and Vance 3rd.
This was also the Dash 4 Cash class—and things got wild.
A 5-minute dash, reversed track, no turn marshals, pure chaos. Wiechens looked unstoppable until a bold move by Jagger Vance sent Tim upside-down and out of contention. Moments later, Jagger got stuck in a pipe, leaving Vaughn Vance as the only car still running, cruising to the Dash 4 Cash win. Smiles, laughs, and cheers all around—exactly what the JAM is about.
Vision Racing 17.5 Independent 2WD Buggy
This one was all Kevin Moyer. TQ, A1 win, A2 win, and a commanding overall victory. Michael McMullen finished 3-2 for 2nd overall, with Matt McGhee grabbing 3rd.
Donathen RC 17.5 Expert 2WD Buggy
This class was stacked. Stevie Slover grabbed TQ and the A1 win, but an 8th-place finish in A2 ended his overall hopes. Hagen Stevenson suffered a broken car in A1 but stormed back to win A2. Consistency paid off for Shane Alberico, whose 3-2 finishes earned the overall win. Matthew Pyle shocked the field after bumping up from the B-Main, finishing 2-3 for 2nd overall. A four-way tie decided 3rd place, with Hagen Stevenson’s A2 win earning him the final podium spot.
Maclan 13.5 Stadium Truck
The second-largest class of the event and the biggest stadium truck field Fastlane has seen in years. Nick Gibson earned TQ but finished 3rd overall after chaotic and incredibly close mains. Mack Vanderbeek pulled off the pass of the weekend, launching the triple over Gibson to secure 2nd overall. The win went to Hagen Stevenson, who—while driving a borrowed truck—went 4-1 and sealed the deal with a dominant A2 victory.
ProTek RC 13.5 Independent 4WD Buggy
Travis Slover grabbed TQ and the A1 win, but Tim Wiechens answered back with an A2 victory. Slover’s 1-2 finishes earned the overall win, with Wiechens 2nd and Brendan Orahood, celebrating his birthday at the JAM, finishing 3rd overall.
ProTek RC 13.5 Expert 4WD Buggy
It was the Andrew Thomas show. Andrew took TQ and cruised to dominant wins in both A1 and A2 for the overall. Shane Alberico secured 2nd, with Stevie Slover finishing 3rd overall.
Team Associated 13.5 2WD Short Course
Lane McGhee, driving a Team Associated SC5M from years ago, proved once again that new gear isn’t required to go fast. Lane took TQ and went 1-1 for the overall win. Kevin Moyer finished 2-2 for 2nd, while Matt McGhee edged out Trevor “Chilly” Duncan for 3rd overall after a tie in points.
Stock Spec Slash
Bruce Farrand took his pink Slash to the top with an exciting 4-1 finish to earn the overall win. Chris Cupp secured 2nd overall with consistent 3-3 finishes, while Tyler Baker rounded out the podium in 3rd.
Mod Class Payout – JAM History Made
For the first time ever, the Offroad JAM featured a $1,400 Mod Class payout, split across 2WD and 4WD. JConcepts Mod 2WD Buggy Alex Vanderbeek laid the hammer down with TQ and wins in both A-mains for the overall. Braxten Culley kept the pressure on, finishing 2-2 for 2nd overall, while Owen Vanderbeek powered his way to 3rd.
JConcepts Mod 4WD Buggy
A photo finish in A1 saw Braxten Culley edge out TQ Tom Rinderknecht by 0.2 seconds. A2 belonged to Alex Vanderbeek, rebounding from a rough A1 with a commanding win. With consistency winning the day, Tom Rinderknecht’s 2-2 finishes earned the overall win and the $400 top prize. Alex Vanderbeek finished 2nd overall, with Owen Vanderbeek once again locking down 3rd.
Racer Raffle – Winners Off the Track
There may have only been 13 winners on the track, but there were lots of winners off the track thanks to our amazing sponsors who helped build a Racer Raffle packed with incredible prizes. The raffle added even more excitement to the weekend and gave racers at every level a chance to go home smiling.
From winter forecasts to red-hot racing, the 2026 Offroad JAM once again proved why it’s one of the most electric events of the season. Huge thanks to the racers, sponsors, volunteers, and Fastlane Raceway for another unforgettable JAM.
