Battuta Mall Spring Series Race 2 Results

The second race of the triple series took place this past Friday, the 2nd of April. It was undoubtedly a fantastic event with a new location and outstanding support to help our efforts to introduce more competitive racing and grow the RC Community.

The UAE RC Group, Binona Team, is very thankful for the ongoing support from their sponsors RV Bin Lahej, RC-ME. Further, we’d like to welcome and thank our new sponsor Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai who brought in Gargash Automobiles and many of their retailers who contributed additional awards and prizes for both participants and spectators.

With the support of Ibn Battuta Mall, the RC race took place on the top deck of their parking house, which impressively transformed into a racing facility for the day thanks to the UAE RC Group’s efforts

This combination of all the mentioned provided for a shaded racing environment, on a super smooth surface, with pit facilities, electricities, driving stands, podium, and the great to great shopping and dining facilities of the mall. All of this combined provided some pretty exciting racing as part of a well-organized day and some pleased drivers.
