Dakotah Phend Crowned 2026 ROAR 1/8th Nationals Ebuggy Champion

Taking it all the way down to the final main with 3 different winners, Dakotah Phend would come out victorious in the Ebuggy class here at the 2026 ROAR 1/8th Off-Road Nationals.

To complete our A-Main grid, Aydin Horne, Jermaine Robinson, and Ryan Cavalieri would bump out of the B-Main early in the day.

A1 would see Seth VanDalen strike first capitalizing on mistakes on the tricky slick surface for Friday main day to win the first leg of the finals. Phi-Long would finish 2nd with Kaden Fuller taking a popular 3rd place finish.

A2 would be a tone to tone win for Phi-Long Nguyen, Seth would make a mistake dropping down the order just before the halfway point which would promote Ryan Maifield up to 2nd before he would make a mistake of his own. Dakotah Phend would recover from a shaky A1 to grab the 2nd place spot by the end of the main with Mason Fuller surviving a last lap charge from his brother to finish 3rd.

With a win or a 2nd place finish for Nguyen, VanDalen, and Phend, all was to play for in A3. Seth would be the first to make a bobble which allowed Phend by and would cost VanDalen precious spots. Lap 3 the quad would send Nguyen tumbling and move Phend to the lead. Dakotah would survive the rest of the main ahead of a charging Ryan Maifield to take the win in A3. Maifield would finish up 2nd with Mason Fuller grabbing another 3rd place finish.

Dakotah Phend and Phi-Long Nguyen would tie on points, but the fastest A-main run of the event would go to Dakotah Phend which would give him the overall win. Phi-Long would have to settle for 2nd and Seth VanDalen finished 3rd with a 1st and a 5th place finish.
