Maifield Wins The 2026 ROAR 1/8th Nitro Truggy National Championship [VIDEO]

Ryan Maifield has rolled through the second class of the weekend here at the 2026 ROAR Nationals at Silver Dollar Raceway with another ROAR National Championship, this time in the Nitro Truggy Class.

Maifield was unwilling to let anyone else top the charts from practice on taking the top seed ahead of Jermaine Robinson and Spencer Rivkin.

Moving into qualifying, Ryan would TQ all 3 rounds of qualifying. Brandon Rose would finish up 2nd in rounds 2 and 3 to start the main event in 2nd. 3rd on the grid would be a 3 way tie points wise with Phi-Long Nguyen winning the tie breaker to start 3rd with Seth VanDalen and Spencer Rivkin starting 4th and 5th.

Main Event:

Brandon Rose would take over the lead for a few short laps before Ryan Maifield would take it back and was able to break away for the rest of the main. Towards the end of the main Seth VanDalen would close the gap to less than 10 seconds but would never get close enough for a battle to form. The end of the race battle would materialize between Brandon Rose and Phi-Long Nguyen for 3rd with Rose able to hang on for the final spot on the podium. Phi-Long Nguyen crossed the line 4th with Mason Fuller finishing up 5th.
