New Avid RC B7 and LD3 Forged Shock Towers

Lowering the center of gravity and overall uptravel while racing on carpet or turf, regardless of chassis or brand. We have found it to be very important to the overall driving characteristics through the corner on high grip!

After running the B7 & LD3 extensively, Avid RC has introduced lower towers for the B7 and LD3 that are lower than some of the towers on the market, as they still needed additional uptravel limiters with -2 towers commonly used.

All the towers are made from 4mm forged carbon fiber, with lightly chamfered edges to help prevent splitting, designed for carpet/turf, and maintain the kit profile so the stock shock guards still work. To do this, we removed the outside hole on the tower because we found we never use it.

The B7 Forged Carbon Front Shock Tower is -3mm
The B7 Forged Carbon Rear Shock Tower is -3mm
The LD3 Forged Carbon Front Shock Tower is -4mm
The LD3 Forged Carbon Rear Shock Tower is -3mm.

-100% Forged Carbon Fiber, 4mm thick.
-Lightly chamfered edges to help prevent splitting.
-The outer shock mount was removed because it was never used. If you need it, then you should be going up in spring.
-Kit tower guard fits.
