New JConcepts 1993 Ford F250 Mini LMT Body

During the mid-1990’s the full-scale monster truck racing scene was at its all-time most competitive. Never had so many factory teams competed for the coveted racing championships during that time. The Ford bodies were always successful, however, never had one style been so dominant. The 1993 Ford F-250 body was the standard and the top of the line in terms of looks, popularity and performance during this heyday of monster truck racing.  Until now, this body style has been unavailable for the Mini LMT, that is until JConcepts pulled the trigger.

For the ninth generation, the body-shell of the 1993 F-Series was given another major upgrade. To further improve its aerodynamics, the forward bodywork was given a slightly lower hood line, rounding the front fenders and grille. The “Blue Oval,” a trademark of all Ford pickups, makes a striking appearance centered in the grille. Stout fender flares are carved ever so carefully into the panels while openings allow for a vast assortment of tires on the market. The F-250 single-cab look is strong and is a careful reminder of a time when passengers sat side-by-side during a typical outing. 

The hard bodyline positioned front to back give the truck heart and the “Built Ford Tough” personality. Also included, the racerback item which mounts separately to the back of the cab and rear fenders, along with sun visor to give an even tougher look to a body style that doesn’t accept anything other than First on Race Day. The body comes clear and includes an authentic decal sheet and easy to use window mask for the detailed hobbyist.

This combination is intended to be used without the standard cage fitted to the traditional chassis layout. Instead, install the included body mounts on the chassis and use the appropriate angled style mount to the front and parallel mount to the rear. Adjust the height front and rear to personal liking and install the body clips as a traditional body. Body clip leashes are also included to help keep the clips in order; these can be installed to user preference and position of choice. Several different height and angled mounts are included for future projects and releases to accommodate an assortment of MT body shells.

Each package includes window mask, 1993 generation Ford specific decal sheet, JConcepts #5230 body mount set, and clear polycarbonate body.
