Fresh out of the JConcepts Speed Laboratory, the Paddle Pin tire from the team in Groveland, Florida hits hardest when needed the most. Although, not a new concept, the step pin style tire is new for the JConcepts team and covers the bases for dirt track conditions. The Paddle Pin design goes back to the early 2000’s when Jason Ruona was working on future designs, but this one was never manufactured.
The Paddle Pin has a robust and durable carcass with inner webbing, equally spaced and large format base, and upper pin structure. The outside pins are smaller with only one height, clipped to roll through the turns or sandy and bumpy sections with ease. The center section designed during the days of dirt roosting action has offset “Paddle Pins” in a stepped configuration to give the ultimate in forward traction.
Built for the industry standard 2.2” wheel combinations, the Paddle Pin comes just in time for the rush of vintage racers and events searching for the ultimate dirt and loamy track tire. Available in sticky green compound, the tires arrive with open cell inserts for increased cushion on soft tracks and just the right amount of stability for high performance and drying track conditions. Mount the wheels to #3354 Mono wheels, #3418, #3419 RC10T Mono wheels, #3467, #3468 Pioneer wheels, to give stadium trucks a much-needed refresh for the true and natural dirt conditions.
The JConcepts team builds, tests, and travels the world to support the brand and gathers valuable driver feedback in search of the best appearing and performance items on the market. The product is manufactured with high precision and always backed by JConcepts customer service, supported, and developed by professionals with style, and authenticity. Look for reputable dealers and distributors and demand authentic and licensed products – choose JConcepts.

In the arena of 2wd buggy racing, front tires can make all the difference in the world. In the initial stages of JConcepts tire development, tires such as the Groovy, Rounder, and Rips all made their way into manufacturing and served great purposes over the years with the Rips winning the IFMAR World Championships in 2011. When it came to designing stadium truck tires, offset ribs, directional radial aspects and stepped heights of tread were very popular in the mid to late 1990’s.
In 2007, JConcepts raised the bar in 1:10th stadium truck front tire demands with the release of the Carvers front tire in proprietary compounds. Now, the Carver is available for RC10T narrow front wheels with the addition of this new ace product to the 1:10th stadium truck dirt track tire line-up. Designed with learned aspects from the full width Carver stadium truck tire, the Carver front has directional tread and V shaped radial ribs. Cut and staggered side bars have been added with strategically placed mini height ribs for contour support.
The sticky green compound combined with the narrow carcass produces a seriously nostalgic look with a neutral steering response true and natural dirt conditions and racers should learn to tune accordingly. The tires arrive with open cell inserts for increased cushion on soft tracks and just the right amount of stability for high performance and drying track conditions. Mount the tires on #3300 Mono front wheels, #3467 Pioneer narrow front wheels, to give stadium trucks a much-needed refresh for the true and natural dirt conditions.
