During the march to the 1/8 IFMAR World Championship in Spain, JConcepts added another weapon to the bar tire arsenal with the Double Bar. Using previously unseen elements with the dual nature of the tread, the JConcepts tread is an entirely different monster. As the dual tread intersects itself, a wall provides additional side bite and stability during hard side-loads and 180-degree corners. The soft and layered tread terminates at the edge, and it rolls off to give the tire an easy transition for an easier driving feel. Inside, a firmer inner carcass webbing was built into the Double Bar to take on more difficult jumping tasks, faster speed European style track layouts, and reduce the ballooning effect of racing at higher speeds.
