Mugen Seiki is pleased to introduce the new generation of the 1/8 on-road racing car MRX7. The MRX7 will soon be available to customers and were excited about the testing and initial results with the protype MRX7. Simon Kurzbuch was able to secure the TQ and runner-up title at the EFRA European Championship with the prototype car.

The MRX7 has been fully adapted to the current requirements of the 1/8 on-road category and incorporates a few parts from its successful predecessor.

The team at Mugen Seiki spent a lot of time testing, rethinking existing parts, adjusting the suspension geometry, and improving weight distribution. The following new features are included in the kit.

Chassis:

-new aluminum chassis with lower motor position and additional side brace to keep strength

-multiple areas to add weight

-slim beautiful lower deck design

-battery back under the fuel tank

-new way to mount the exhaust with possibility to fix super soft in order or reduce vibrations

Bumper:

-new front bumper shape adjusted to current bodyshells

-also available as a harder optional version

Fuel tank:

-new fuel tank to improve engine consistency and maximal size to adjust with volume inserts

Drivetrain:

-all pulleys fixed by screws instead of E-clip to improve reliability

-reduced overall weight with using an aluminum gear shaft

-possibility to use the front one-way and rear solid axle in a lower and higher position

-front belt runs in center position

Body mount:

-new lightweight carbon body mount fixed by height adjustable arms using a turnbuckle system

-areas to add additional guides to stiffen lightweight bodyshell´s

-new front body post with better position for clip´s

Suspension:

-new front suspension geometry to use a narrow track width

-front wheelbase adjustable

-new rear uprights with aluminum inserts possible to adjust in its position

-modern way to mount front dampers

Electronics:

-new lower positioned radio tray reducing COG
