Press Release From Racestyle:
www.racestyleracing.com

Fine-tune the steering characteristics of your Mugen with the Racestyle Steering Link Spacers. Designed to lower the front steering link on both the inner and outer sides, these spacers change the steering to create a smoother, easier-to-drive car with less aggressive initial steering and increased steering from mid-corner through corner exit.

By smoothening out the initial steering while giving you more mid to exit, this change will be allowing you to drive with greater confidence and consistency across a variety of track surfaces.

Instructions:

  • Flip steering plates to the other side of the car and attach to the bottom side of the front hubs.
  • Attach the long spacer on the carbon fiber steering plate for the front hubs with a m3 x 16 button head screw.
  • Attach the short spacer under the ackerman and assemble as normal with a M3 x 16 button head screw.

Handling Benefits:

  • Smoother initial steering.
  • More mid-corner steering.
  • More steering through corner exit.
  • Helps make the car easier to push and drive harder.
  • Works well across a variety of track surfaces and conditions.
  • Allows for a smoother, more controlled steering feel.

Set Up Recommendations:

Because the spacers reduce initial steering response, we recommend lowering the front shock oil by approximately 25–50 CST to complement the new steering geometry.
