Press Release From RC Project:
www.rc-project.it/2022/en/
The Diff Washer by RC-Project marks a true step forward in the cleaning of differentials, bearings, and small parts for R/C models.
Unlike traditional plastic containers with metal mesh inserts, this new model stands out for its premium materials and refined design, offering superior performance, long-term durability, and virtually zero maintenance.
Weighing just 160 g, it is extremely compact and easy to handle or transport, yet its internal volume is more than sufficient to meet the needs of even the most demanding modelers.
The container and lid are CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075, while the internal basket is made from AISI 316, a high-grade stainless steel renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance.
The Grade 5 Titanium vent screw, treated with a PVD coating, ensures exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. It allows internal vapors generated during the cleaning process to escape, ensuring optimal cleaning results without any risk of pressure build-up.
Moreover, the Diff Washer is designed to be completely leak-proof, thanks to two NBR O-rings placed on both the lid and the vent screw. These O-rings provide a perfect seal, preventing any liquid leakage even during transport or storage when filled.
The careful choice of materials, combined with meticulous attention to detail, makes the Diff Washer a versatile, practical, and reliable tool ideal for anyone looking for a professional and long-lasting solution for cleaning their R/C components.
Diff Washer User Manual
Here’s how to use your Diff Washer for an easy and effective cleaning process.
First, prepare your Diff Washer for use.
- Loosen the Bleed Screw: Slightly loosen the titanium screw on the lid. This will make it easier to open.
- Open and Fill: Open the lid and pour your cleaning fluid into the container, filling it up to about halfway.
Once the container is prepared, you can add the parts you need to clean.
- Insert Parts: Place the parts you want to clean inside the basket.
- Close and Seal: Close the lid, making sure it's secure, and then tighten the bleed screw to completely seal the container.
Now that the Diff Washer is ready, you can proceed with the washing.
- Shake: Hold the Diff Washer firmly and shake it vigorously for about 20 seconds. This shaking motion allows the cleaning fluid to reach every part, ensuring a uniform and effective clean.
After shaking the container, you can remove the clean parts.
- Loosen the Bleed Screw: Before opening the lid, loosen the bleed screw. This step is important to make it easier to open.
- Drain Excess Fluid: Open the lid and gently lift the inner basket. Let the excess fluid drain back into the main container.
- Remove Parts: Once the fluid has drained, you can remove the basket with your cleaned parts.
