Press Release From Horizon Hobby:

Introducing the next generation of 2WD race engineering: the TLR 22X.
Available in Dirt/Clay (22X DC) and Astro/Carpet (22X AC) configurations, both TLR kits feature all new geometry, 13mm big bore shocks, a refined transmission, and maximum tunability to meet the demands of today’s fastest tracks.

Every part is designed for performance and cross compatibility across both builds, giving racers the freedom to fine tune and evolve their setup as conditions change. This platform has been engineered from the ground up for serious racers.

Two track types. Two build configurations. One goal: to win.
The 22X DC and 22X AC share the same race engineered DNA, but each is fine tuned to deliver peak performance in its environment.

The DC (Dirt/Clay) version includes a proven ball diff, wide kingpin spindle geometry for smoother steering feel, a lightweight carbon electronics tray for improved responsiveness, and a chassis longer than previous models for better consistency on higher grip clay tracks.

The AC (Astro/Carpet) version is all about precision and traction with sway bars included, a new large volume gear diff, a steel electronics tray that strategically adds weight for improved balance, and chassis that measure longer than the DC. The narrow kingpin geometry and larger scrub offset sharpen inputs for high speed accuracy on astro and carpet surfaces.

Both versions share a common core and are fully cross compatible, so you can swap components and dial in your car to match your driving style or the track in front of you.
