A couple of weeks ago, XRAY confirmed they were working on a new kit for the growing 1/8-scale nitro GT class by posting a teaser image to their social media accounts. You can see it here:

At 2:48 PM CT today, they posted a second image - showing the face of XRAY founder Juraj Hudy, as well as the vehicle name GTX8.

There's not much information about the car available yet, but Slovenian retailer TopRC has the car listed on their website already - with the part number #XR350500 and a price of €690,00 (including 22% VAT), which translates to about $585 US dollars without the EU-mandated tax. TopRC also lists the following description:

"GTX – all-new 1/8 nitro GT car based on the XB8 platform but fully redesigned for GT racing with plenty of new moulds produced specially for the GTX. The kit does not include wheels/tires and does not include the body.

Expected release: end of April."

We can't confirm if the car will be available in the next couple of days, but more official information is surely on its way.
