The LiveRC crew would like to share our condolences to The Losi Family with the passing over the weekend of Gil 'Pops' Losi. Pops was a legend and highly regarded by everyone he met and even those who never had the opportunity. We wish the Losi family the best in this difficult time.
Quote from our own Brandon Rohde: "Pops Losi was an icon in so many industries, not Just RC. It’s heartbreaking to hear about his passing . I first met him briefly in 2000 at the first R/C race I ever traveled to away from my home track, and then a few other other times over the years as I ran for Losi in the early-mid 2000’s. Even though I never got to know him super close, I absolutely knew his impact on the R/C industry. A few years ago, I had the priviledge of visiting his home with Joel Johnson, and I was in absolute awe of his car collection. That day is something I will always remember. He will be missed greatly not just in out industry, but in many other industries as well."
