Dakotah Phend has continued the momentum from Ebuggy into the Nitro Buggy class out at Silver Dollar for the 2026 ROAR 1/8th Off-Road Nationals taking the TQ in the class.

Seeding concluded with Phi-Long Nguyen fastest, Dakotah Phend in 2nd and Seth VanDalen 3rd.

For the nitro buggy class, qualifying fuel milage would come into play as a few drivers would attempt the full 10 minute runs with no pit stop like Phend, VanDalen, Lemieux, and Drake among a few others. The best 2/4 qualifying runs would count towards starting position for the main events. TQ locks directly into the main with the rest of the top 25 drivers heading to the Semi-Finals.

Dakotah would strike first taking the TQ in round 1 , round 2 would go to Seth VanDalen, then Phend would finish off the final 2 qualifiers with TQ runs which would give him the overall TQ. With a TQ and 2 second place runs Seth ended up 2nd overall. Mason Fuller finished up 3rd with a 2nd and a 3rd to his credit, he was also the fastest of the drivers who didn't appear to attempt to go the full 10 minutes. Ryan Maifield and Phi-Long Nguyen would finish out the top 5 after qualifying.

TQ: Dakotah Phend
