Phi-Long Nguyen TQs 2026 ROAR 1/8th Nationals in Ebuggy

Thursday at the ROAR Nationals was day 1 of Ebuggy competition which included all of seeding practice and qualifying. Phi-Long Nguyen is the overall TQ after taking the TQ in rounds 3 and 4.

Phi-Long Nguyen would be the fastest out of seeding practice by about a second over three consecutive laps ahead of Ryan Maifield and Dakotah Phend.

Phi would DNF and DNS in rounds 1 and 2 but would find the pace and consistency in the final two rounds to take the TQ in the final two rounds and the overall TQ. Seth VanDalen will start 2nd on the grid with a TQ and a 3rd. Dakotah Phend would finish 2nd in two different rounds which would be good enough for 3rd on the starting grid. Ryan Maifield and Mason Fuller will start 4th and 5th for the triple a-mains tomorrow.
