The two rounds of seeding practice have been used to set the qualifying order for the 2018 Silver State Nitro Challenge. In Pro Truggy Ryan Lutz would take the top seed over Ryan Maifield and Joe Bornhorst all finding pace in seeding round number two. Pro Ebuggy would see Ryan Maifield take the top seed over Joe Bornhorst and Jared Tebo with the first round of seeding proving to be quicker in the ebuggy class. As the track gained more character in the second round lap times would continue to get slower. The top three in Pro Buggy would stand from round one going into qualifying with Jared Tebo taking the top seed followed by Dakotah Phend and Spencer Rivkin.
