The 2018 Reedy On-road Race of Champions concluded last Sunday in fairly epic fashion. The two most dominant drivers at the event were the same guys that have populated the top step of the podium for multiple years. Marc Rhinehard and Ronald Volker, the respected rivals, kept the audience on the edge of their seats for 10 rounds being seperated by no more than a point before Volker ran into trouble in the last two rounds which allowed Rhinehard to take his 7th Reedy Race victory with Volker 2nd. Akio Sobue would take round wins in three of the last four rounds to tie with Viktor Wilck ultimately winning the tie breaker for 3rd leaving Wilck 4th. Christopher Krapp would round out the event 5th.
In Modified Touring Car Gonzalo Cortes would take the win from Felix Law and Christian Lopez.bExpert Stock Touring Car would see Eric Anderson take the win over Kyle Bergstrom and Luke Pittman. Finally, Sportsman Stock Touring Car had Thomas Oehler with a win over Orlando Sherman and Dwayne Flodell.
