The first day of qualifying at the 2021 Silver State Nitro Challenge has kicked off with Ryan Maifield grabbing the round 1 TQ in Pro Truggy and Tyler Jones taking the TQ in Pro Ebuggy.
Ryan Maifield (Mugen Seiki Racing) grabbed the Pro Truggy TQ away From Tyler Jones (Tekno RC) on the final lap with his quickest lap of the run following a bobble on the previous lap. Dakotah Phend (TLR) would finish a second back in 3rd with Jared Wiggins (Tekno RC) and Seth VanDalen (Tekno RC) close behind in 4th and 5th.
Tyler Jones struck back in Pro Ebuggy taking the TQ by a second ahead of Dakotah Phend in 2nd and Seth VanDalen in 3rd. Ryan Maifield and Cole Ogden (HB Racing) rounded out the top 5.
