Over the years there has been a wide variety of unique ideas and products introduced in the world of R/C. In terms of short course truck bodies, perhaps one of the most unique was the 2009 release of the Pro-Line Racing Desert Rat "Carnage" body. Released during prime time of the "R/C short course boom", this body was designed to fall apart upon impact. The idea was for the body to mimic the "carnage" of a full-scale truck body in a heavy crash or impact by using separate front and rear pieces which were held onto the main body by Velcro.
