Great weekend spent at the MIBO International race full of track action is over. I finished P4 in stock class and P6 in modified at the end. I hoped in little better pace but was struggling to find the optimal balance between speed and stability. Decent results considering pretty high international competition in both classes what secured tight fights for all positions. Amazing job done by Antoine Brunet and Oliver Havranek who were able to challenge Ronald Volker. Also, congratulations to all winners and many thanks to organizer for hosting such a beautiful race after a three years break.

The Mibosport international race 2023 took a place last weekend in Hrotovice, Czech Republic.

After a long time we came back to the sport hotel, this time for a three-day event.

Friday’s free practices were topped by XRAY’s Bruno Coelho, followed by Martin Bayer and me in 2WD, and Bartek Zalewski and me again in 4WD, which showed immediately the speed in our XB2 and XB4.

Seeding after timed practice on Saturday morning was in a very similar order just mixing up a little bit between our drivers and Hupo Honigl and Zsolt Bajusz joining the TOP5s.

2WD qualifying was topped by our young Bartek Zalewski, who was close on points with Bruno in 2nd as he faced some technical issues in two of the five rounds. Zsolt would line up 3rd, Jessica Palsson 4th and me 5th.

Bruno would go on to pass Bartek in A1 and A2 and hold on to the lead until the loop to secure the overall win! Bartek won A3 to seal his overall 2nd place, while Jessica would finish 3rd, I came in 4th overall with two 3rd places and Zsolt was 5th.

4WD qualifying was dominated by Bruno, as he secured 4 out of 5 rounds to seal the TQ. Bartek would follow him in 2nd, Jessica 3rd, me in 4th and Martin Bayer closing the top 5.

4WD finals had more interesting moments in the fights for the win. Bruno would win A1 and Bartek won A2, with both having a 2nd place as the second result. That meant an interesting fight in A3, which in the end went to Jessica in front of Bruno and me. So overall it was Bruno taking the win on a tie break with Bartek, who finished2nd. Jessica was 3rd, me 4th and Martin would close the top 5.

The team XRAY once again had a big success, congrats to Bruno for the double win and the rest for their A-main results! Next up for us is the MKGP in the UK next weekend.
