Baruffolo Doubles at 2020 One Race One Man

Race Report by Marco Baruffolo

Last week there was the first race of the year at IBR Padova.

For this race the staff changed some corners on the track to have a different layout and the result was very good!

On the first day we had 5 rounds of 10 minutes of free practices where we tested different changes on setup and tires! We decided to use the same setup that I used in November and changed only shock oil (400 in front and 450 in the rear). I used same setup in both classes. 

On Friday we had the reseeding day and after 3 best consecutive laps I was 2nd in e-buggy and 4th in nitro. It was very difficult to make 3 clean laps because there was a lot of chaos sometimes and the track is very small in some parts. 

On Saturday we had the qualies and the first 2 finals of e-buggy. 

In nitro I finished 4th-3rd-3rd with some small mistakes during runs while in e-buggy I TQed all 3 rounds. 

In Semifinal, it was a good fight with Berton and Burak during all 20 minutes, I won it but started 2nd in the final behind a very fast Mattia Polito. 

During the first 15 minutes of the final I made some mistakes as I was very nervous but when I took the lead I was very comfortable and after 45 minutes I took the Win in front of Riccardo and Robert!

In the first final of e-buggy I made 2 mistakes and I allowed Berkan to win it while in A2 I won. In the last decisive final I took tone to tone win in front of Kilic brothers!
