New proprietary long wear compound – The new Lugz Racing Long Wear compound is the result of extensive testing of different synthetics, compounds, mixtures, & additives. Our goal was to come up with a compound specifically designed for the United States style of tracks. It was developed to have minimum swelling and last on an abrasive grooved hot track.

The long wear compound tire has no silicone or any other additives that have problems adhering to super glue, the tires are cleaned, and most of the mold release has been removed, making it easy to glue.

you will have the peace of mind that your tire will not come off during your race.

Proto’z new Long Wear tire has 15 lugs evenly across the tire with staggered connecting bars. The tire has 3 internal rubber belts to prevent the tire from swelling and has added support on the sidewall to help from folding over, it is one of the lightest on the market coming in around 46 grams, The less overall rotating mass helps with acceleration. This tire work incredibly well on smooth abrasive tracks, the lugs are slightly tapered which prevents them from folding over, the result is an even flat wear across the tire, helping it last during a long main event.
