Press Release From Redcat Racing:

Redcat releases a new hopping lowrider to their rapidly growing “Street Style” lineup, the FiftyNine. The Redcat FiftyNine is a fully functional 1:10 scale hopping lowrider based on the iconic 1959 Chevrolet Impala 2-door hardtop. This special edition FiftyNine, created in partnership with Jevries, is called the Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine. This is a true collector's edition vehicle and is limited to only 1,000 units. All vehicles have been numbered with tamper proof holographic stickers and all boxes have been hand signed by Jevries himself. Every box is sealed with tamper proof holographic stickers for those who want to keep an unopened mint condition Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine, as a true collector's item, for years to come. Individually numbering each of the vehicles from one to one thousand makes them highly collectible, so if you are interested in purchasing one, you better act fast. The Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine includes Redcat’s LR6X lowrider specific radio system and does not include a battery or charger. They will be made available for purchase exclusively through the Redcat and Jevries websites.

The Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine captures the classic styling of the 1959 Chevy Impala with its highly detailed body that is trimmed in a Jevries inspired red and black paint scheme. It does not get any more classic than the 1959 Chevy Impala’s bat wing rear fenders, cat’s eye tail lights and stunning three dimensional body curves. Meticulously crafted with every detail in mind, the Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine features a five piece fully licensed body with clear windows, included rear fender skirts (user must install), chrome side mirrors, realistic red interior, injection molded chrome plated plastic details and chrome foil trim decals. This beautiful, limited edition FiftyNine body sits on top of Redcat’s innovative LRH285 hopping lowrider chassis that includes several special edition upgrades.

The Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine also includes Jevries True 13 chrome wheels, whitewall low pro tires, Jevries chrome window plaque, Jevries inspired decal sheet, chrome transmission case and gear cover, chrome front suspension arms, chrome V2 steering arms, chrome frame rails, chrome rear axle housing, chrome front lifting bell cranks, chrome steering tray, chrome trunk pan, chrome dashboard and chrome steering wheel. This special edition FiftyNine looks just as good displayed on a mirror as it does hopping, rolling on three or performing tricks.

Not only does the FiftyNine look good, but it can also perform some impressive tricks that are not possible with normal vehicles. Whether you like slow cruising with the body slammed, riding-lion with the front end proudly raised, cutting corners on three wheels, or hopping for the crowd; the FiftyNine does it all, thanks to its purpose built, realistically simulated hydraulic suspension. Using specialty servos and precision weight bias, Redcat has replicated the driving style and overall look of a full-size hopping lowrider.

Included with the Redcat FiftyNine is the LR6X six channel 2.4GHz radio system, designed with lowrider style switches, adding to the authentic look and feel of the vehicle. This radio has been fitted specifically for use with RC lowriders and includes many buttons, levers, and switches to drive the FiftyNine, as well as perform realistic hopping and lowrider tricks. The radio includes individual switches for each of the three height adjustment servos, momentary switches for raising either the front or rear to maximum ride height/hopping and momentary buttons for lowering either the front or rear of the vehicle to minimum ride height. The levers and switches are similar to those found on an authentic full-size hopper control unit, which allows the FiftyNine driver to experience what it would be like to operate a full-size hydraulically actuated hopping lowrider.
