New XXX Aero Works SSS AK-27 Rubber Tire Late Model Body

XXX Aero Works is proud to officially release their first body; the AK-27 rubber tire late model body.

The AK-27 is a 1:10 Scale Dirt Late Model body designed with significant inspiration from one of my favorite 1:1 Dirt Late Model Innovators, Austin Kirkpatrick and his AK Racecars. Aerodynamics has become a black-art in Dirt Late Model Racing, and the evolution of the bodies has been rapid. We are proud to release what we believe to be the most advanced RC Dirt Late Model Body ever made. With realistic styling cues found on top Dirt Late Models, this body is ready to take advantage of the only thing free in racing: The Air.

This project has not been a solo project.

I approached Adam Sippel of Sippel's Speed Shop with the idea of a collaboration. He was skeptical, but I quickly convinced him that if we work together to take my ideas, and mix them with his experience in the design and production of RC Bodies, we could change the game. Working side by side with Adam has been unbelievably smooth. I am proud to announce that all Production and Distribution of our bodies will be done by Sippel Speed Shop. Our combined efforts will be known as "XXX Aero Works by SSS."

The AK-27 will be available in both .030" and .040" thickness. You will also be able to order your body with various spoiler lengths. The body includes Machined Spoiler, Spoiler Caps. The Roof is very easy to mount, with our EZ-Mounting system. Simply cut on the cut lines, drill holes on the dimples, and the roof falls into place. Our roof wont "allow" cheating like many are doing with other roofs out there without clearly defined mounting locations. In our opinion, the roof is approved in a specific mounting location. Moving it fore or aft, up or down, is simply modifying the body from its approved design, and should not be allowed.

Of course, the AK-27 is DODC Approved.
Includes Decals, Window Masks, and like all modern RC Cars, comes with Metric Hardware
