Race Report by Kaja Novotny 

The 1st round of XRS Slovakia series took place last weekend in Hudy Arena. New track layout brought new challenges for all drivers, low tire wear and great atmosphere were promising nice weekend. 

In 4wd, Martin Bayer TQed round 1 and 3 to secure the overall TQ with the fastest run in the opening round. My XB4 lined up 2nd and Max Gotzl completed TOP 3! 
Finals were pretty much the carbon copy of qualifications as Martin always pulled away while I was driving few seconds back with Max again few secs behind! 
4WD Buggy Results: 

1. Martin Bayer – XRAY XB4 
2. Kaja Novotny – XRAY XB4 
3. Max Gotzl – XRAY XB4 

In 2wd, it was a bit closer between Martin and me, but eventually the overall TQ went to Martin. I was starting 2nd and Max 3rd! 
Even though my car was great in the final, I did stupid mistakes in each leg which put me out of the game. So Martin took his 2nd win of the day, I took overall 2nd place and Max completed the podium after some close fights with Matus Benetin and Bartek Kramza! 
2WD Buggy Results:

2. Kaja Novotny – XRAY XB2 
3. Max Gotzl – XRAY XB2

In Truck class, Martin was in his own level and took easily the overall TQ! Martin then tone-to-tone wins in A1 and A2 to complete the hattrick! Max finished overall 2nd and young Kuba Krus completed the podium!

It was one of the best days of racing I had in a while, already looking forward for round 2! Big thanks to the organisers for nice event! And of course big thanks to my parents and all my sponsors for their support!
