Despite being the moring round here at Homestead Raceway, Infinity's Naoto Matsukura was able to lay down the quickest time of the weekend and the only 24 lap pace so far here in round 4 of qualifying. Naoto would also have the quickest lap and top 3 average of the round. After speaking with him, he was very happy with his car setup and pace. Infinity's Andy Moore, arguably the most consistent driver of the event thusfar, finished 2nd saying he would likely go back to his setup from round 3. The fastest 23 lap run of the round with a 23/7:01.361. Serpent's Dominic Greiner would finish 3rd mere hundreths behind Moore, Greiner would have some trouble with traffic following his pit lap slowing him down. Infinity would also go on to finish 4th and 5th with Teemo Leino and Tadahiko Sahashi.

Mugen's JJ Wang would make further improvements as the United States top qualified driver to take 13th overall for the round. Top seed, Lamberto Collari would fall on more trouble finishing 24th for the round.

Qual points currentlly are displaying as best 2/4. As it is Dario Balestri is provisional TQ with 0 points. Naoto Matsukura is 2nd with 2 points. Andy Moore is 3rd also with 2 points. Dominic Greiner sits 4th with 5 points and Shoki Takahata is 5th with 10 points. Ultimatley though the best 3/6 rounds will count so while Balestri, Moore and Greiner all have 3 solid runs, Matsukura, Takahata and much of the rest of the field have work to do.
