This past weekend The Invitational Returned to Texas at Gulf Coast Raceway. Racers from Texas, Louisana, Mississippi and beyond battled to become the Invitational Champion over 10 rounds of intense Ebuggy action. A 5 round per day Reedy format with 1 drop each day made for a long 100 minutes of ebuggy racing. Brandon Rose would win his first 4 races the first day allowing him to attend his Highschool homecoming dance. He would also win the first 4 races of day 2 effectively crowning him the champion. Dillon Caldwell and Quincy Hughes would be tied going into the final round where Caldwell would edge out the elder Hughes. Tyler Hooks would finish 4th with Jonathan Reeves finishing 5th.

Open Etruggy: TQ and 1st Smiley Henn, 2nd Austin Bauer, 3rd Nick Vanderpool

Sportsman Etruggy: 1st Leo Moreno, 2nd Arthur Carvallo, 3rd Chris Snuggs

Open Ebuggy: 1st Wade Bynum, TQ and 2nd Austin Bauer, 3rd Todd Geary

Sportsman Ebuggy: TQ Preston Phalen, 1st Chris Snuggs, 2nd Brian Reed, 3rd Kevin Alleman
