Tebo and Bornhorst Dominate The Icebreaker 2019

Jared Tebo took the win in pro buggy and pro ebuggy at the 2019 Indy RC World Ice Breaker with Joe Bornhorst taking the win in pro truggy.

The pro nitro buggy race was relatively uneventful in the top three with Jared Tebo taking a multiple lap win over Joe Bornhorst with Adam Drake finishing a lap further behind. Dillon Caldwell and Tyler Hooks would battle down to the last lap though with Dillon coming out on top to take 4th with Hooks 5th.

There was a little bit of parity in the truggy race with Jared Tebo missing the first minute of the race. He would eventually fight back up to what looked like it would be a 3rd place finish. Joe Bornhorst and Adam Drake would battle until the 27 minute mark when Adam Drake shattered the rear end of his truck after making a detour into pit lane. This would give Tebo 2nd and Tyler Hooks 3rd. Adam would hold on to 4th with Aaron Royston finishing 5th.

In pro ebuggy Adam Drake would take the A1 win but would have to settle for 2nd after Jared Tebo claimed A2 and A3. Joe Bornhorst would finish 3rd with Dillon Caldwell finishing 4th and Jared Wiggins rounding out the top 5.

Open Etruggy: 1st Andrew Clark, 2nd and TQ Nick Vanderpool, 3rd Austin Bauer, 4th William Ables, 5th Jeff Flekenstein
