Ongaro and Baruffolo Win Italian Nationals R3

Race Report by Marco Baruffolo

Third round of Italian Nats is over! 

We did the race only on Saturday because the forecast was really bad! We had only 3 qualies and the finals. Fortunately both cars were on point on the setup and I only had to choose the right tires. I use Miami soft for the qualiess and I finished second in e-buggy and third in nitro. 

In e-buggy in the first final I ran again the miami but the track was a little bit dusty and was very slippery and I finished 3rd. For A2 I used Amazzonia Soft and they worked really well and I won it. I used again them for A3 but the track had more grip and had some other issues and finished 2nd. After 3 finals I took the overall Win!

After the e-buggy we had the nitro final. I knew with the soft compound I didn't have chance to fight for the win so I decided to use Amazzonia Medium (big thanks to Scaramuzzino that gave me one of his set) and it was the right choice. Lost some times at the start because of some grease from the clucth bearings and did only one mistake during the final.
