Dario Balestri was easily the man to beat yesterday in Seeding Practice yesterday at the 2019 IFMAR 1/8th Worlds taking 3/4 of the official practice rounds. Balestri would be the fastest driver in rounds 1,2, and 4 with only Naoto Matsukura able to deny a perfect day with the reigning 200mm World Champion fastest in round 3.

After analyzing the rounds, the track was notably slow during round 2 of seeding. Balestri went the quickest in round 4, but the majority of other drivers went their fastest in round 1 and round 3. Drivers were very inconsistent throughout seeding with only Balestri, Matsukura, Gruber, Pietsch, Shimo, Tironi, Gandin, Davis, and Wang able to crack the top 10 more than once.
