New Hackfab Haymaker Mini-T 2.0 Tire

HackFab started in 2019, shortly after the release of the Losi Mini-T 2.0. They started by offering a Late Model / Eastern Dirt Modified (EDM) conversion kit for it that lengthens the wheelbase to that of Losi's original Mini Late model from the 2010's and provides left offset weight bias. It has since been refined and the HackFab product line has greatly expanded, fully supporting the Losi Mini-T 2.0, Mini-B, and Mini Drag platforms (and beyond).

Today, HackFab has released the "Haymaker" for the Losi Mini-T 2.0. This is their first entry into the r/c tire world. This sort of tire option has been requested many times over the last couple years, so this release should make some of the mini dirt/clay oval racers happy.

This block patterned oval tire is designed for the Losi mini line. It is reminiscent of the original Losi Mini Late Model tire, but with some changes including a bigger and more spaced out tread pattern. It should work well on a number of surfaces including dirt, clay, pavement, and carpet.

The tires are currently offered in three initial compounds (super soft, soft, and medium). As with any tire, a softer compound will yield more grip, but also wear faster. They also include soft molded closed cell foam inserts.

These are sold as a pair of unmounted tires/foam inserts (no wheels). They will require gluing to your Mini-T 2.0 wheel of choice.
