Press Release From JConcepts:

One of the most endearing vehicles of all-time in the BIGFOOT® 4X4 line-up is the Shuttle. Based on a 1985 Ford Aerostar van, the crew from Missouri set out to build something the whole family could enjoy and learn from. The Shuttle was routinely used as a training vehicle for new drivers learning how to negotiate the 4wd steering so typical on monster trucks. It also made a great vehicle to test drive a new track, perform a scouting run through new terrain or provide entertainment for home videos driving through riverbeds and tackling camping trips.

JConcepts is on a mission to provide BIGFOOT® body shell options for popular RC vehicles in the market. The 1985 Ford Aerostar by JConcepts is fit for the JConcepts Regulator chassis, and Tamiya Clod Buster* (requires user adapted body mounting). The clear and one-piece body has all the stand-out features that made the Aerostar memorable, starting with the low slope angle hood and windshield. The high roofline of the van body runs the length of the shell and drops back just behind the rear wheel wells to allow space for the rear hatch door and window.

The side profile of the Aerostar is rather flat, and purpose built for shuttling the entire family between events. The entire side of the body has recessed windows with 5 different individual panes and body lines throughout providing more 1980’s identity in each direction. The front and rear wheel wells have a built-in flair giving some extra rigidity and blend perfectly with the design. Front and rear bumpers are also carved into the design and with included decal sheet, can be outfitted with miscellaneous license plate designs.

The unique shape of the body requires special body mounting considerations because of the angled front-end and height of the Aerostar shape. JConcepts offers an injection molded body mount set (available separately) for Regulator style mounts which can be outfitted quickly to get just the right fit. The mounts provide a steady, dual post assembly for the front and rear with the capability to reach the surface of the body at just the right height and angles.

The clear body is packaged with licensed Ford Aerostar decal set, BIGFOOT® 4X4 Shuttle decal sheet, and window mask for quick and easy paint. The body shell is manufactured with passion at the JConcepts headquarters in Groveland, Florida. Overspray film is standard on the item, and the entire package is backed with JConcepts customer support and heritage. Look for reputable dealers and distributors and demand authentic products – choose JConcepts.

The team at JConcepts had some fun with this one, the 1985 Ford Aerostar built for 13” or longer RC monster trucks. Back in the good old days, it was common to take just about every vehicle, make and model and produce a racing machine that would blister down the race track. As JConcepts continues to add performance, and historic looking shells to an already existing line-up, a lot of creative freedom was applied to this beast to provide ideal looks and tire clearance for big tire behemoths.

The 1985 Ford Aerostar by JConcepts is fit for the LMT, Axial SMT10, and similar sized RC monster racing trucks (requires user adapted body mounting).

The entire side of the body has recessed windows with a large pane in the rear section and body lines throughout providing more 1980’s identity in each direction. The front and rear wheel wells are intended to be cut very large and actually eliminating some stock vehicle geometry for additional monster truck clearance. Front and rear bumpers are also carved into the design and trimlines call to slice through some of these sections if desired by the builder.

The unique shape of the body requires special body mounting considerations because of the angled front-end and height of the Aerostar shape. JConcepts offers a fiber glass front (#5149) and rear (#5150) shock tower set (available separately) for LMT style body mounts which can be outfitted quickly to get just the right fit. The mounts provide a steady way to use JConcepts assembly parts and stock LMT post assets for the front and rear with the capability to reach the surface of the body at just the right height and angles.

The clear body is packaged with licensed Ford Aerostar decal set, and window mask for quick and easy paint. The body shell is manufactured with passion at the JConcepts headquarters in Groveland, Florida. Overspray film is standard on the item, and the entire package is backed with JConcepts customer support and heritage. Look for reputable dealers and distributors and demand authentic products – choose JConcepts.

JConcepts is on a mission to provide BIGFOOT® body shell options for popular RC vehicles in the market. The 1985 Ford Aerostar by JConcepts is fit for the Traxxas Stampede, and with the included body mounts is versatile enough to drop into place on a variety of the Stampede variants available over the years. The clear and one-piece body has all the stand-out features that made the Aerostar memorable, starting with the low slope angle hood and windshield. The high roofline of the van body runs the length of the shell and drops back just behind the rear wheel wells to allow space for the rear hatch door and window.

Front and rear bumpers are also carved into the design and with included decal sheet, can be outfitted with miscellaneous license plate designs.

The unique shape of the body requires special and included #5120 angular front bracket for the standard front mount to position the mount at the correct angle for the van body. The included JConcepts rear body mount is built for the square post retainer located in Traxxas body mount kit #TRA3619 (not included). This provides a steady and dual post assembly for the rear with the capability to reach the top of the Aerostar van body. The clear body is packaged with licensed Ford Aerostar decal set, BIGFOOT® 4X4 Shuttle decal sheet, injection molded body mount accessories, and window mask for quick and easy paint.
