The MXLR FlexBumper is 3D printed with thermoplastic polyurethane for the optimal strength and flexibility.
You may ask what are the advantages over foam bumpers? We can answer that:
- absorbs hits better and doesn't transfer them as much into the chassis structure
- more robust and sturdy
- it always goes back to original shape and don't drag on the floor after a crash
- improved style/optics

  • MAX-09-003 - Flex Bumper for Awesomatix A12
Our MXLR FlexBumper for the Awesomatix A12 offers the original shape! It's a direct replacement for the kit foam.
Only change we made, is that we removed the recess area on the lower side. Our tests showed that more ground clearance is a advantage, especially on carpet with higher floor/fuzz. This reduces touching and dragging on the ground and keeps the corner speed higher!
    Weight comparison:
    MXLR FlexBumper = ~5,5g.
    Original Kit Bumper = ~3,5g.
  • MAX-09-004 - Flex Bumper for Awesomatix A800FX
Our MXLR FlexBumper for the Awesomatix A800FX (and A800FX Evo) offers the original shape!
It's a direct replacement for the kit foam. Both bumper weights, ST230 & ST265 are suitable to use as well, just like the original bumper.
There are two MX logos on the backside to proof the originality.
    Weight comparison:
    MXLR FlexBumper = ~20g.
    Original Kit Bumper = ~10,5g.
  • MAX-09-005 - Flex Bumper for Awesomatix A800MMX
Our MXLR FlexBumper for the Awesomatix A800MMX matches the original footprint, but with a lower overall profile!
It's a direct replacement for the kit foam. The lower overall profile helps to keep the weight in an acceptable range.
There are two MX logos on the backside to proof the originality.
Also suitable for all A700 models, as well as A800, A800X, A800X Evo, A800MMCX!
    Weight comparison:
    MXLR FlexBumper = ~12g.
    Original Kit Bumper = ~6g.
  • MAX-05-005 - CBRS - Carbon Body Reinforcement set
This set is the best option to prevent your body shell from unwanted deformation and body tucks! The carbon rods with 1.0mm diameter are very sturdy and ultra light!
They come in 100mm length to be as multi functional as possible! You easily can cut them to the needed length for your needs. Weight of one piece 100x1.0mm carbon rod = 0,1g

Use the included B-7000 glue to fix/install the rods on the inside of your body shell. With the metal tip you are able to dose it very gentle even in narrow areas! Just a few drops are needed per rod.

Example applications:
- stiff up the front lip of 1/12 body shells to stop the dragging on the ground at high speed.
- use as anti tuck in the rear of your body shell. Glue two pieces of the rod in the "fender/rear bumper".
In best way you create a "triangle" shape" like shown in the pictures below.
- use as stiffener for the hood of TC body shells. Glue one rod in longitudinal direction from the inside to the hood.
- use as stiffener for the window/roof area of TC shells. Glue one rod in longitudinal direction across the front windshield from the inside of the shell.
- use as stiffener for the sidewall of body shells. Depending on the shape of the shell either in across or longitudinal
direction.
