2023 USCOC - 2wd Pro Mod Buggy J Concepts Triple A-Main

During qualifying in the 2wd Pro Modified class things were very close with a couple drivers getting a TQ time, but it would be Aaron Kothman taking the overall TQ. It was no doubt though why Kothman was the man out front as he would dominate both the A1 and A2 mains to take the over all win. The battle was now for the two remaining podium spots. With the rest of the field not getting a win, it was whoever got the elusive 24-lap run and it would by Ryan Cavalieri to step up and do it getting the win and the over all 2nd podium spot. Brandon Foote would round out the top three.

2023 USCOC - 4wd Pro Modified Buggy Presented by Schumacher Triple A-Main

The A-Main was stacked with talent in the 4wd Pro Modified class with handful of drivers hungry for the win and with the ability to do so. Starting with the first strike from Brandon Foote edging out the field to take the overall TQ spot. Foote would continue with his journey battling with current IFMAR 2wd World Champ, Tater Sontag in the A1 main to take the first win by less than a second at the finish line. In the A2 main, a familiar name would rise to the front of the pack as 4-time World Champ Ryan Cavalieri would turn on the afterburners and claim the A2 win with a flawless 24-lap run. Cavalieri would do it again in the A3 main finishing first and taking the over all win. With calculating the points and applying tie breakers, Brandon Foote would take the overall second spot with a 1st, 5th and 2nd with Tater Sontag taking the overall third spot with a 2nd, 2nd and 4th.

2023 USCOC - Pro 17.5 2wd Buggy Presented by Whitz Racing Triple A-Main Results

The TQ in the Pro 2wd 17.5 class was Jeff Statkiewicz but his win wasn’t going to be easily attainable as Dustin Fox was freshly coming off his overall win in the Pro 4wd 13.5 class and was looking for blood. We would have an answer to this with Fox scoring the first win in the A1 final and being the only one to throw down a 23-lap run. Not going down without a fight, Statkiewicz went into defense mode trying to hold off the hard charging Fox. It was too much for Statkiewicz as fox would make the pass to take the A2 win and the over all win in the class. Statkiewicz would go on to take the A3 win, but it would only take him as far as the over all second. Andrew Bishop would round out the top three.

2023 USCOC - Pro 4wd 13.5 Buggy Presented by Hobbywing Triple A-Main Results

Dustin Fox made a statement with his TQ being set a few seconds ahead of his next competitor in such a tight field. A rough start in the first A1 final knocked Fox back to a fifth place finish with Jeff Statkiewicz scoring the win. This set back for Fox was only fuel to the fire and would answer back in a big way in the A2 final throwing down the only 24-lap run to take the second win. It would all have to be decided in the A3 final as again Fox would be the only one to fit in 24-laps in the six minute run. The Final order would be Fox for the win, Statkiewicz second and Kyle Holmberg rounding out the top three.

2023 USCOC - Stadium Truck Presented by Team Scream A-Main

Stadium Truck was on fire at the 2023 US Carpet Offroad Championships this year with a record 67 entries going all the way down to a H-Main! With that said, the Top Dogs in this class were lead by TQ Jovy Levin having an impressive weekend landing him at the front of the grid. From the beginning of the race it was clear it was going to be a two horse show with second qualifier Brandon Marsh stealing the lead from Levin on the very first lap. The two stayed together as they were separate from the rest of the pack. A mistake from Marsh midway through the race gave the lead back to Levin and Jovy would carry this momentum to the end to take the win. Marsh would settle for second with Evan Cook rounding out the top three.

2023 USCOC - Short Course Presented by Power HD A-Main

TQ Ryder Himanek and Ryan Hovis, who was second on the grid immediately got down to business and Himanek challenged right from the get go. Meanwhile hanging out right behind them was Mychal Toombs and sometimes being in third is the best place to be waiting to capitalize from the leaders crashing. Not having any of it, Himanek put it into top gear to build himself an almost 1 lap lead taking it to the finish line for the win. Ryan Hovis finished second and Toombs taking third.

2023 USCOC - Masters 2wd Modified presented by Proline A-Main

Masters 2wd Modified presented by Proline
If there was such a title of Masters Specialist, Associated Team Manager Brent Theilke would definitely have this title. All weekend, Theilke set to the pace and would be the one to beat in this class. Starting with scoring the TQ spot, he wouldn’t so easily get away with second qualifier Roger Seim right on his rear bumper. The big story in this main though was eighth qualifier John Cravotta moving up all race long seriously contending for a podium spot. When the dust had settled, Theilke would take the win 1-second ahead of Seim and Paul Ciccarello would finish where he started in third only 2-seconds over Cravotta.

2023 USCOC - 2wd Modified Buggy Presented by Motiv A-Main

Things weren’t so cut and clear in the 2wd Modified class as the top five were all in contention for an over all win. It all started in qualifying with the battle for the TQ spot. After three rounds, it would be John Montgomery taking it. Not it would be another big task to keep that spot. The main started great for Montgomery, but he couldn’t rest easy as the hard charging Nate Betley would challenge and actually take the lead away. The battle stayed tight until the pressure finally cracked Betley into a mistake with two laps to go. The finishing order would be Montgomery taking the win, Betley second and Mike Himanek taking third.

1 John Montgomery
2 Nate Betley
3 Mike Himanek
4 Rob Kulza
5 Doy Schultz
6 Ryland Bauer
7 Michael Kerr
8 Brian Compton
9 Jeff Todd
10 Jimmy Pooler

2023 USCOC - 17.5 Buggy Presented by A Main A-Main

All the stock classes were ultra competitive and this doesn’t exclude the 17.5 classes as it was 50+ drivers deep. So making it to the A-Main was going to take some talent along with a little bit of luck. Christopher Bagley was the man on top and would get off to a good start at the sound of the tone bringing the pack around for the first handful of laps. A bobble would knock Bagley back a position and would go back another when third qualifier Eli Hooten would challenge then make a pass. That would be all she wrote as time would be running out. Cook would go on to take the win, Hooten second and Bagley would settle for third position.

2023 USCOC - 21.5 Stock Buggy Presented by Avid A-Main

Satoshi Takesako was the man to beat in the 21.5 Stock Buggy class as he dominated all weekend taking the over all TQ. Takesako was one of our Iran Man competitors having also raced the weekend before in the onroad US Indoor Champs. Takesako’s start wouldn’t be the greatest as a crash on the first lap would send him all the way to the back of the back with second qualifyer Keegan Hanson saying thank you very much as he inherited the lead. Not willing to give up, Satoshi put on one of the biggest charges we’ve seen in the mains which would eventually put him back on the podium spots. Hanson would go on to take the win, Satoshi second and from way back in the 9th starting position, Jack Grider taking third.

2023 USCOC - 4wd 13.5 Buggy Presented by TLR A-Main

4wd 13.5 presented by TLR
The competitive 13.5 4wd class saw Colton Brienzo to the TQ spot with his work cut out for him. His main competition later in the weekend was second qualifier Evan Cook who he narrowly got the TQ spot from. At the tone, Cook would steal the lead away almost immediately as the racing was nose to tale for all of the 6-minute main. They would exchange the lead towards the end of the run with cook opening up an almost 6-second lead to take the win. Brienzo would have to settle for the second spot with Memphis Duncan rounding out the top three.

2 Colton Brienzo
3 Memphis Duncan
4 Connor Barrows
5 Keegan Hanson

7 Tucker Mitchel
8 Dominic Valentine
